2011 – 2014 PhD Research in Automotive Engineering
  • Research Focus: Improving repeatability of steady-state engine tests, with focus on PM2.5 emissions.
  • Collaboration: Partnered with Jaguar Land Rover using a 5-litre naturally aspirated V8, AVL dynamometer test cell, Horiba emissions equipment, and a bespoke National Instruments interface.
  • Achievements: Achieved a 30% reduction in PM2.5 measurement variability during DOE testing.

  • Role: Designed and developed bespoke engine testing data collection equipment.
